Lana is a Law Society Accredited Specialist in Family Law and brings over a decade of exclusive family law experience to her clients.
Having worked both locally and within the specialist family law team of a large national full services law firm, Lana has represented clients from all walks of life including parents, business owners, professionals, grandparents, and everything in between.
Lana is dedicated to meeting the individual needs of her clients and providing them with straightforward, realistic, and practical advice whilst delivering a high level of service with care.
Lana has extensive experience across all aspects of family law including parenting cases (including those involving children with high medical needs and allegations of risk and abuse), local and international relocation and overseas travel cases, property and asset division (including those involving businesses, trusts and complex asset structures), de facto and same-sex relationship matters, cases with international elements, pre-nuptial agreements, and grandparent matters.
For each client, Lana aims to achieve a result that considers a long-term view, often taking into account the need to maintain positive co-parenting relationships and, most importantly, protecting and safeguarding the physical and psychological wellbeing of children.
Lana has a particular focus on alternative dispute resolution and prides herself on maintaining a high rate of success in amicably and efficiently settling matters via negotiation or mediation. Lana is also a collaboratively trained lawyer and adopts the principles of collaborative law in her day-to-day practice, assisting clients to achieve win-win resolutions without having to go to court.
When court proceedings are necessary, Lana brings strong litigation experience. She has successfully represented clients around Australia in parenting and financial cases, including those involving the international relocation of children, and cases involving multiple parties. It is always Lana’s aim to resolve litigated matters as efficiently and inexpensively as possible.
Lana was born and raised locally and completed her degrees at the University of Wollongong. Outside of work, Lana is a busy mum of three and enjoys staying active and spending time on our beautiful South Coast beaches.
Lawyer
Having worked exclusively in family law for a large local firm since her admission, Isobelle is experienced across various areas of family law and provides advice in relation to property settlements, divorce applications, and parenting disputes.
Isobelle is known for her compassionate and pragmatic approach to helping clients navigate the family law system and is well-versed in dealing with high-conflict situations. Isobelle appreciates that clients are often seeking advice at an extremely difficult time in their lives and aims to resolve matters as effectively as possible with each client’s individual goals in mind.
Isobelle acts for clients who have gone through or are in the process of going through a relationship breakdown. This includes people who are married, in a defacto relationship, grandparents who are seeking time with their grandchildren, as well as other individuals who may be interested in the care of a child.
Isobelle actively tries to assist clients to resolve their disputes through alternate dispute methods including mediation without the need or cost of court intervention. When court proceedings are required, Isobelle can be trusted to provide expertise and guidance throughout the litigation process.
Isobelle grew up in Central West NSW and relocated to Wollongong to study at the University of Wollongong. Outside of the office, Isobelle enjoys spending time with her friends and family.
Administrative Assistant
Jaimi has worked in the legal industry for over 15 years providing administrative and practice support. She holds a Diploma in Business Administration. She has experience in a large corporate law firm and has been working with Hulse Family Law since February 2024. She is passionate about Family law and enjoys assisting our clients. Outside of work Jaimi is a busy mum of three. On the weekends she enjoys watching her children play sport, coaching netball and going to our beautiful south coast beaches.
Paralegal
Holly is studying a Bachelor of Laws at the University of Wollongong and is in her final year. She has been working as a legal assistant for the latter part of her studies and has developed a keen interest for working in family law.
Holly provides our team with administrative and legal support, assisting our solicitors by being an empathetic and dependable point of contact for our clients, as well as assisting with document and file management, preparation of correspondence and court documents, and case research. Holly enjoys working with clients directly and supporting them on an individual basis throughout their matter. In Holly’s view, communicating with clients directly, and offering both legal and emotional support in a more intimate forum, is what draws her to a career in family law.
When Holly is not in the office or studying, she enjoys unwinding with a glass of wine with friends, or reading a good book on any one of Wollongong’s beaches.
Office & Accounts Manager | Justice of the Peace
Camille commenced working in the legal industry in 2012 and brings a wealth of extensive experience in administration to Hulse Family Law. Camille holds a Diploma in Legal Services and a Certificate IV in Business Administration.
Camille has gained her experience mostly working in the Illawarra. Camille also worked at a ‘First Tier’ Family Law firm in Sydney CBD. Throughout the years Camille has worked in a variety of fields of law, however she is passionate about Family Law.
Camille provides office administrative support to the team at Hulse Family Law and helps ensure the smooth running of files. Camille also manages our accounts and is the first point of contact for accounts related matters.
Due to the unique relationship Camille is able to build with clients, she is able to assist them through their matter and provide support through difficult and stressful times.
When not in the office, Camille is kept on her toes by her young son.
